Danish Art Deco lounge chair in green, 1930s.
Beautiful and comfortable Art Deco armchair in walnut and upholstered in dark moss green, made in Denmark in the 1930s by an unknown Danish carpenter, but in the style of Slagelse Møbelværk, Oswald Haerdtl Vienna and Alfred Christensen.
Base with wide, curved back and rounded corners at the back. The seat and back cushions are covered in original green wool fabric. The seat is sprung for added comfort.
This timeless design will suit many modern interiors such as Danish Modern, Scandinavian, Bohemian or Art Deco.
Good vintage condition with a sturdy frame. The original fabric is in good condition and has no holes. The patina is consistent with age and use. Some wear on the original finish such as on the armrests, see photos.
